Triple Chocolate Bread With Pecans

White chocolate chip pecan bread

I just experienced my first blogger nightmare. My site crashed. WOMP WOMP. Sorry to those of you who witnessed it, seeing the ERROR 404 message isn’t so pretty, huh? Everything survived (thank goodness!) except yesterday’s blog post. So I’m posting it again today, in hopes to make a come back. For you bloggers out there, how do you avoid this? I need to figure out a back up system. I don’t feel like I can trust my hosting site anymore. Help!

So here it is once again, the triple chocolate bread with pecans.

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 9×5 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, cocoa)
  3. Add in the eggs, milk, oil, vanilla, and mix well until smooth.
  4. Toss in chocolate chips and pecans.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  6. Remove when fully cooked and enjoy.

That’s who I use too Kathleen! They’ve been pretty good up until this happened. I’ll have to look into the WPBackup plugin. I always think backups are a good idea!
