Minimalist Watch and the Mountains

I’m so excited to get back to blogging this year! I haven’t posted in 2019 yet, this is my first post and it feels pretty good. Keeping a blog is hard work and it’s embarrassing to admit that I couldn’t even remember my password to log in this morning. BUT what keeps me coming back to this special spot on the internet is that it holds so many of our memories and I only want them to continue. I also want to continue having this place for inspiration, not only for myself but hopefully for others too!

A big reason why blogging has been hard lately is that we’ve been settling into our new home, traveling, taking advantage of ski season, and hosting (all fun, great things!) My cousin and her fiancé visited us last month and it was awesome having them here. Unfortunately, everyone got sick but we were still able to make it outside for a quick photoshoot with Photography by Alexandra Lynn. Side note, I love that our CO backyard is basically a perfect photoshoot backdrop. It’s SO beautiful and is always an easy way to get family/friends to come visit. ;)

My cousin and her fiancé took their engagement shots in Boulder while I took some solos. Dave was originally supposed to join me but he got pulled into work stuff. I was a little bitter that he couldn’t make our shoot but at least I was able to get some shots of me, the mountains, and my new favorite watch.

To be honest, I’m not a huge watch person but after wearing this one around for the past few weeks, I have to say I’ve easily been converted to being a watch person. It’s such a nice accessory and helps tie outfits together effortlessly and I swear, something about wearing a watch makes you look smarter and more put together!

Dave has a JORD wooden watch that he wears all the time so I was pretty pumped about getting one for myself. What’s so unique about both our watches is that we have our last named carved into the back of them. It’s a nice personal touch and makes the watches feel a little extra special. My watch, Sier Arcadia, also came with two bands – one metal mesh band in rose gold and one white leather band. I love that I can switch between the two, it makes it very versatile while still holding its classic minimalistic design.

Anyways, to kick off getting back to blogging JORD and I are hosting a giveaway. The winner will get a $100 gift card to apply towards any of their unique watches and anyone who enters the giveaway will receive an automatic 10% off code.

P.S. I was actually on their website earlier and noticed they have a new watch called Cora Polaris and it’s  gorgeous! I have my eyes on that one :)
