My Year In Numbers

I’ll admit it – ONE Direction, the most listened to on my Itunes.
Dave and I have been together for TWO years now.
I had the quiet moments to paint THREE times on canvas, the paintings are now scattered around the house.
For FOUR nights we went camping in Acadia National Park, we went hiking and on boat rides, but my favorite was the campfire s’mores.
Explored FIVE foreign countries (England, Austria, Germany, Dominican Republic, Czech Republic).
Lived with SIX close friends in a big yellow house.
SEVEN bits of titanium that were once holding my ankle together, have been removed, and I’m still standing!
We visited the Humane Society EIGHT times, just because we like to.
Celebrated my grandfather who turned NINEty.
I’ve made myself cozy wearing TEN different hats this year.
Jeremiah 29:ELEVEN, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” The verse that I’ve clung on to this past year.
TWELVE, the number of pages left in my journal.
Graduated from Michigan as the class of 20THIRTEEN.
What an amazing year! So many ups and downs, really highs and really lows, but I can honestly say I feel so blessed and so very thankful. I’m saying goodbye to 2013 with a warm and full heart. And, I’m excited for you, 2014!
